1) Did you like running the cross country, why?

No, because it was tiring.

  2)  What is the hardest part of cross country?

Running up the tall  hills because my leg muscles hurt.

3) What is your favorite part of cross country?

My favorite part was the soft grass because it didn’t hurt my feet as much as the hard, rocky, concrete did.

4) Why do you think we need to do cross country ?

We need to do cross country because it helps us with our fitness and we can stay healthy.

5) Do you find it hard to run 3 laps of the field ?

Yes it is really, really tiring because when I run the 3 laps I feel dizzy and that is why I don’t like running three laps.

W.A.L.T write a review

Martell Animations made a new short animated film called Pigeon Impossible which is a spy movie. It is making fun of Mission Impossible and James Bond. Pigeon Impossible starts in Washington D.C where a man in a black suit get a briefcase and hands it over to the man secretly. Then the man sits on a bench and then a pigeon come towards him. The pigeon got trapped in the briefcase.

I liked  the pigeon because it was cute, especially when it wanted to eat the donut.

I didn’t like the look of the some of the characters.  I thought the man was ugly and the lady screaming was weird and too loud.

I also didn’t like the rocket falling on the pigeon. It was a sad way to end.

Overall I did not like the short film and would recommend to not watch it.

I will give the film 2 out of 5 because it looked too cartoony and I do not like cartoon things.

On Wednesday 16 of March I was so excited to go to Castor bay. We had to wait for the bus and when it  came we drove to Castor bay with my class and Room 7. My group is call Motutapu. We did a beach game and then kayaking and raft building. My favorite part was raft building because we won the challenge and the other groups raft broke apart.  It was super funny I was super proud and then …

The first thing we did was learning how to tie knots. It was easy for me we had to practice until we knew how to tie a perfect knot. After we learnt how to tie a knot we did a race of who can tie a knot the fastest. Kyel was the fastest then the teacher chose our group my group was call Hawaii. My group had 5 people it was Kyel ,Lela, Annabeth and  Kayla. Then the teacher gave us (6 milk bottles,2 wood planks ,bamboo and ropes). After that we had to build the raft and we had to use all the things that the teacher gave us . When we finished we had to put the life jacket on. Then we had a race to drag the raft into the sea then the teacher told us the instructions. It was that we had to hi 5 the man teacher and then go and hi 5 the lady teacher. Then we had to pull everything apart. We did everything. Everybody's raft fell apart my group won but all of the group’s lost a rope.  So we searched and searched but we still -could not find it. So that is why that week was my favourite .
